Global fintech leader Revolut, with over 60 million customers worldwide, is launching a technology hub in the Philippines designed to accelerate innovation and enhance global capabilities. Located in Manila, the new hub marks a strategic expansion of Revolut’s international footprint—opening access to world-class Filipino talent and boosting its operational scalability.
This move strengthens Revolut’s long-term commitment to the region and establishes the Philippines as a critical partner in its global growth strategy. The hub is poised to generate hundreds of high-value jobs, particularly in customer service and support roles, emphasizing Revolut’s focus on delivering seamless, top-tier user experiences.
“At Revolut, customer-centricity is foundational,” said Raymond Ng, CEO of Singapore & Southeast Asia. “This investment reflects our confidence in the Philippines’ growth potential. We’re not just hiring for today—we’re building sustained operations that drive digital upskilling and meaningful impact locally.”
The Global Capability Center (GCC) in Manila will work closely with Revolut teams across the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas. It will play a vital role in delivering best-in-class products backed by strong operational controls and risk management as the company continues to scale worldwide.
Philippine officials welcomed the investment with optimism. “Revolut’s decision to build a tech hub here is a vote of confidence in the country’s readiness to lead global fintech innovation,” said Secretary Ralph G. Recto of the Department of Finance. “It highlights our unique blend of talent, digital maturity, and pro-innovation policy.”
Martin Kent, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, also lauded the move: “This expansion brings the UK’s fintech expertise to a digitally skilled Filipino workforce, strengthening trade partnerships and pushing regional financial innovation forward.”
Following the success of Revolut’s first Asian tech hub in India in 2021—which now supports thousands of global operations—the Philippines joins its network as another high-impact talent base. With Revolut’s remote-first model, the company can tap top-tier professionals from across the country, fostering inclusion, flexibility, and strategic collaboration.
“This is more than just expansion,” Ng added. “It’s a partnership with the Philippines—bringing high-impact work to Filipino teams who will help shape the future of finance.”
