The Queen City of the South now has a more direct gateway to one of Palawan’s most celebrated jewels, as Cebu Pacific launches daily flights between Cebu and El Nido starting October 26, just in time for the peak travel months.
Operated via Cebgo (DG), this new service complements existing flights on the same route by boutique carrier AirSWIFT, giving Central Visayas travelers more choices and flexibility when planning their island getaways.
“El Nido has long been one of the country’s most sought‑after destinations, and soon it will be more accessible to those flying from Cebu and nearby provinces,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer. “By adding this route ahead of the holiday season, we are not only strengthening inter‑island connectivity but also creating more opportunities for every Juan to discover the best of the Philippines.”
With its turquoise lagoons, towering limestone cliffs, and white‑sand beaches, El Nido consistently ranks among the world’s top tropical escapes. From Cebu, travelers can now add it to an itinerary that also includes other Palawan gateways like Coron (Busuanga), Port Barton (San Vicente), and Puerto Princesa, all served directly by Cebu Pacific.
For those heading the other way, Cebu offers its own mix of heritage and flavor, from centuries‑old landmarks like Magellan’s Cross and Fort San Pedro to bustling food markets and the city’s world‑famous lechon.
Passengers may tap into existing Travel Funds for bookings, or choose from multiple payment modes including credit/debit cards and e‑wallets.
Currently flying to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, Cebu Pacific continues to position itself as a key player in boosting Philippine tourism and connectivity.
