The Fantastic Four Make Their Marvel-ous Philippine Debut This July 23

The long wait is over. Marvel Studios’ iconic first family is finally landing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe—and in Philippine cinemas this July 23. “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” promises to redefine what it means to be a superhero by spotlighting the bonds of family, the burden of power, and the beauty of rediscovery.

Set in a retro-futuristic world inspired by the 1960s, the film unfolds in vibrant, cosmic detail, exploring how four ordinary people grapple with extraordinary powers after a life-changing space mission. More than just origin stories, it’s about navigating relationships, identity, and purpose while facing one of the MCU’s most powerful cosmic threats: Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, and his ominous Herald, the Silver Surfer.

Stellar Cast with Real Heart
Leading this emotional rollercoaster is Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) as the brilliant Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. BAFTA winner Vanesa Kirby (Pieces of a Woman) shines as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, bringing both vulnerability and grit. Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear) delivers a layered performance as Ben Grimm/The Thing, while Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) ignites the screen as Johnny Storm/Human Torch.

Together, they form a team unlike any other—one that bickers, bonds, breaks, and rebuilds just like any real family.

Director Matt Shakman encapsulates this vision, saying, “They’re Super Heroes only when they have to be. And that’s what I love about them. They’re like us. They struggle with problems the way that we do.”

Fantasticar Sighting Alert
To mark the film’s release, the Fantasticar—the Fantastic Four’s iconic retro-futuristic ride—has touched down at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall. From July 18 to 24, fans can immerse themselves in the “Future World’s Fair” activation event and snap photos with the vessel that looks straight out of a space-age comic book. You might even walk away with exciting prizes.

Gather the gang and catch “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” exclusively in cinemas starting July 23.
