French heritage brand Sledgers has officially reopened its renovated store at Ayala Center Cebu, unveiling the Spring/Summer 2025 collection in a space inspired by European gentleman’s clubs. The new store design reflects the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship, comfort, and understated sophistication.
The grand opening featured a ceremonial toast and a guided walk-through of the collection, led by Regional Brand Manager Edward Roxas. He emphasized that while Sledgers is traditionally known for men’s footwear, its refined and versatile designs—such as the updated Noel Penny Loafer and new lace-up styles, the Danilo and Pietro derbies—are equally suited for women who appreciate sleek, well-crafted shoes. With their timeless silhouettes, premium leather, and Ortholite insoles for all-day comfort, Sledgers shoes offer a stylish, practical option for everyone.
Primer Group of Companies CEO and Co-founder Jimmy Thai was also present at the event, celebrating Sledgers’ deep connection to Cebu and its longstanding influence in Philippine retail. Thai emphasized the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation, highlighting its legacy of crafting shoes for individuals who move with intention.
Guests also enjoyed a styling showcase that demonstrated how Sledgers footwear seamlessly transitions across different looks, from formal workwear to casual weekend outfits, reinforcing the brand’s vision of effortless everyday elegance.
Founded in France in 1921 and first introduced to Cebu over 20 years ago, Sledgers continues to create footwear that embodies style and purpose. The newly reopened store at Ayala Center Cebu now features the full Spring/Summer SS25 collection and iconic silhouettes.
