The Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA) has unveiled its finalists for 2023, celebrating the remarkable achievements of women in technology across Southeast Asia.
WIICTA chose 107 finalists from a pool of over 150 nominations for the awards.
The lineup represents a diverse range of talents hailing from partner, start-up, vendor, and distributor businesses.
Among these outstanding women, one Filipina entrepreneur has emerged as a standout finalist.
WIICTA described the Entrepreneur category as an award that “recognizes an enterprising candidate with a risk-taking mentality, honoring excellence in launching new ventures, products or services. This individual has a proven background in building innovation from the ground up, evident through converting market-leading ideas into viable business offerings.”
Mharicar Castillo-Reyes of Asticom bagged an award in the said category.
Moreover, other Filipinas were recognized in other categories.
